Kelly Maher Newsletter-Engaging Erotic Fiction

APRIL 2007

NEWS

This month has been nuts! First off, I'm really sorry the newsletter is a week late! Tax Day fries the brain, even if you've already turned the forms in, received the refund back, and spent it :) The Deliciously Naughty Writers had two great chats hosted by TwoLips Reviews. We've also set up chats next month and in June with Fallen Angel Reviews and Joyfully Reviewed. We've also started the planning for a group series that we hope to start pitching soon. I'm very much ready to get back to my fiction writing now that I've finished up my day profession committments.

I've received in a few new reviews, including one from Romantic Times! I'm really sorry I'm going to missing the party next week. For all who are going, have a wonderful time and enjoy meeting your favorite authors!

Engagingly yours,
Kelly

BOOKS

Bound to Love cover A servant of the Ancient Egyptian goddess Hathor for four millennia, Akhet-en's continued survival depends on his rescuing an ancient set of papyri from pre-eminent Egyptologist, Dr. Eloisa Brown.

Eloisa figures a one night stand with a hot hunk is just one more step on the road to recovery from a crushing divorce. She just doesn't expect him to be as old as the antiquities studies.

The Man from HATHOR is now available from Phaze.

4 Kisses from Romance Divas

Ms. Maher has created an engaging premise and built a credible story around it. The passion between her hero and heroine melts the page, but it is her portrayal of the dual aspects of both the Lioness of War, Sekhmet and the Egyptian Goddess of Love, Hathor, that make the tale truly inspired. With touches of humor, and plenty of action, this is a great little story for a cold winter night.

Cimmerean League: Revelations coverIn a world where the good guys work in the shadows, Vie fights the attraction she feels for her compatriot, Bolt. Bolt's done waiting and is ready to claim his woman. Only, an enemy from the past isn't ready to die.

3 Stars from Romantic Times

Maher has created a fascinating world of gods, creatures of the night and mortals with psychic powers. Fast paced with explicit sex scenes, this story draws one in quickly and ends much too soon.

Cimmerean League: Revelations is now available from Amber Heat alone and as part of The Lusty League Amber Pax.

Family Jewels cover Amalia Winston is worth every penny she charges for her services. Money is no object to Sasha Feodrovich. When they get together, more than his family's jewels are at stake!

READING RECS

Edge of Night anthology - With stories from Rae Morgan and Sherrill Quinn continuing the worlds they wrote about in the Pisces anthology, I'm in heaven. I still haven't read the story from Emma Sinclair, but I'm sure it's going to be a blast.

SPECIAL FEATURE

With spring finally showing up in my neck of the woods, I thought I'd share a little about container gardening. I'm not an avid gardener, but I do enjoy having plants around. Container gardens are a great alternative for those living in urban areas or want something for the ledge above the kitchen sink.
